Additional All-Level Classes: Participants may work with the coach on which ever skill they’d like, or practice on their own. Coaches may suggest a general lesson, game, or challenge during the session, but archers are welcome to not participate if they’d prefer solo shooting.

JOAD/AAP: Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) and the Adult Archery Program (AAP) are classes catered to students who want more intense, performance based training. In addition to highly detailed focus on every part of the shot cycle, JOAD/AAP classes may contain physical conditioning and drills or challenges intended to improve precise skills. JOAD/AAP participants must have a USA Archery Membership to earn achievement pins, but all student archers are welcome to attend these classes. Coaching during JOAD/AAP classes will be focused on the skill or topic so newer archers should not expect focused attention on basics.

Pin Shoots! Pin shoots are miniature tournaments open to all students. Tournament rules are applied and archers shoot timed, 30 or 36 arrow rounds. Scores are recorded and allow archers to achieve a new personal best. JOAD/AAP archers can earn achievement pins for exceeding set score tiers. Pin Shoots are very popular with everyone.

Special Events: Special Events include Private Classes or events, the fall Pumpkin Shoot, birthday parties, team-building events, Field Archery trips, Floo-Floo shoots, and any number of other unique events.

Tournaments: Tournaments are competitions with formal judging and may have special prizes. Participants must register and are open to non-club archers so long as they have a valid USA Archery Membership. Tournaments have separate fees, space is limited, and other archers may not use the range during these events.

Private Events: Anyone, including non-members, can reach out to the club to request any type of Special or Private Event. We’ll do our best to accommodate!

Cancelled or Missed Classes: Classes may be cancelled due to weather. Occasionally, we may re-schedule a class but students should not expect this. Check the club calendar and come at the next available offering of the class you’re pursuing.

Equipment: All classes require the use of Club Equipment. Archers with their own equipment may have it inspected and approved by a coach. Quality equipment in good condition is a matter of safety and our coaches will be conservative in their inspection of private equipment.
